IRM Forum 2007 - We attended this year's forum, the theme of which was Seeking Certainty and comprised of a series of workshop programmes led by leading risk management suppliers and IRM members.
 Research and Risk Education
In February 2007, John Watt was invited by the University of Osaka to give a paper and join discussions in a workshop entitled “Building the Platform for Training Risk Managers”. This hugely enjoyable visit to Japan proved to be a springboard for further opportunities to participate in research on ways that risk curricula are developing across the world. Subsequently John has been invited to join the SRA Education Committee and, with a current MSc student Leah Corr, is starting to survey and evaluate current provision.
